On Friday 25 October 2024, NE Herts Labour members and their guests met in Letchworth Garden City for an informative and positive discussion about what we can do at a local level to tackle the scourge of Climate Change.

Climate change is a global problem. But that doesn’t mean that we can do nothing about it in our own area to achieve Net Zero.

Our expert speakers are working at the coal face to decarbonise energy, waste and other industries.

The event was chaired by Cllr Emma Fernandes (centre left on picture below), North Herts Climate Champion, with opening remarks from our local Chris Hinchliff MP.
