Alistair Willoughby is the Labour & Co-operative candidate for Baldock & Letchworth East.

Alistair has spent the last 3 years representing residents in Baldock as North Herts District Councillor for Baldock West and, in that time, has achieved a great deal for the town and the District including the North Herts Women & Girls Safety Charter, introducing the Baldock & Villages Councillor Surgeries, his campaign to refresh the street furniture in Baldock town centre, and his work with Urban & Civic to ensure that the Growing Baldock development delivers for existing residents as well as those who will move into the new housing.

At the launch of Labour’s County Council campaign, Alistair said about his candidacy,

“I am incredibly proud to be running to represent our home and stand up for the people of Baldock & Letchworth East. I care so much for our community and the Conservative administration at Hertfordshire County Council just hasn’t been delivering for us. They’ve let us down on so much, including SEND and education, our roads, and on the cost of living and it is time for change. So many people that I’ve spoken to on the doorstep tell me that they want a representative who really cares about our community at County Hall and that that is why they are backing me. I will earn your vote.”
