Sarah Lucas is the Labour & Co-operative candidate for Royston East & Ermine. Sarah became a North Herts District Councillor after winning the Royston Palace by-election in October 2024, replacing our new MP, Chris Hinchliff, who stepped down after being elected. Sarah has already been hard at work for residents in Royston and now wants to take that drive to County Hall.

At the launch of her campaign, Sarah said about her candidacy:

I stood for election to the District because I am committed to supporting our communities and give them a chance to thrive. Now I want to be able to stand up at County Hall and fight for residents of Royston East & Ermine to have strong thriving communities that give better opportunities for everyone.”
