Ian Bell is the Labour candidate for Buntingford. Ian currently works in International Development at Christian Aid after previously working with as a SEND cover teacher and in adult social care, an important aspect of work that the County Council does for Hertfordshire and something that the current administration has been under-delivering in.

Speaking about his candidacy, at his campaign launch, Ian said,

“I am proud to run in Buntingford. The Conservative administration at Herts County Council and the Greens at the district level have failed to deliver, with devastating cuts to local services, youth services closed, the beloved swimming pool shut for good, and potholes left festering in rural villages.

“As your local councillor, I will fight for the needs of residents including better roads and public transport, improved SEND and adult social care, and stronger youth services.”
