At County Council elections that overall were not particularly favourable to Labour, Alistair successfully fought to be the County Councillor for Baldock and Letchworth East on 1 May 2025.

No doubt Alistair was recognised for his tireless work representing residents of Baldock West on North Herts District Council, hence he managed to buck the trend and get elected to the County Council. We hope that he has many years of service ahead of him.
