It’s widely anticipated that Rishi Sunak will call a General Election this year, rather than wait until the last possible moment for an election in January 2025.

Labour are ready.

Labour are the only realistic alternative to the Tories, having consistently come second in all but one General Election since the constituency was created (and coming a comfortable second in 2019).

NE Herts will have a new MP after the next election, as Sir Oliver Heald is stepping down. We are choosing our candidate very shortly and we hope that he or she will be our next MP. NE Herts has been Conservative held since its creation, although we have come close to winning . Several MRP polls have seen our constituency predicted to become Labour if a General Election were held now.  So, IT IS POSSIBLE AND WE CAN WIN!
