North East Hertfordshire Labour Party The Labour Party covering Letchworth, Baldock, Royston, Buntingford and surrounding villages
Labour had some fantastic gains in North Hertfordshire and successfully defended all of their seats!
Already the largest party, North Herts Labour added 6 seats to make 25 councillors, up from 19 before the election and just one short of the 26 required to control the council.
Labour (including Labour & Co-operative candidates) also attracted more votes than any other party, securing 36% overall.
In contrast, as was the case widely throughout the country, the Conservatives had a torrid time and retained only seven of their seats.
We’re hugely proud of Labour’s candidates and everyone who campaigned.
