Amy Allen is the Labour & Co-operative candidate for Letchworth South. Amy has spent the last 4 years representing Letchworth residents as a District Councillor at North Herts Council. She has spent that time being involved in various community cafes, groups, and organisations and doing more for the town. She is also the Executive Member for Recycling & Waste at North Herts and has spent several years ensuring that residents get the absolute best service possible.

Speaking about her candidacy, at her campaign launch, Amy said,

“Our community deserves better, and I’m ready to deliver real change. As your County Councillor, I will ensure voices are heard at all the levels of authority, and with organisations like the Heritage Foundation. I will work to improve SEND provision, support families through the cost of living crisis, and see that there is proper investment in our roads and services. I’ll take every opportunity to make life better for residents and ensure the County Council truly serves our communities.”
